At HER, we are very excited to announce that we are partnering with Barnes and Noble at Potomac Yard for a book fair! During the time of the fair, any books purchased for HER through the Barnes and Noble website or at the site of the event will be donated directly to the four libraries we are building in Pakistan in March of 2017. (Please note that these donations must be certified with a special promo code-- details to follow immediately.)
As always, we welcome any donations to HER and encourage everybody to consider purchasing a book for us on November 19th. A book is one piece in the grand puzzle of girls' education, a puzzle that HER intends to complete through our quality, sustainable libraries.

Alexandria Country Day School: Country Market 2016 Prep
For the past couple of months, Zoha and Hannah have been working with Alexandria Country Day School (ACDS) in creating a HER booth at the school's Country Market. The Country Market is a fall fair for ACDS students, including games, food, and more types of fun! This year, HER will participate by selling bookmarks and pencils, and by spreading the word about its upcoming projects and ways for people to get involved.
This past week, Zoha and Hannah led two bookmark making sessions with the students at ACDS. The bookmarks being sold are 100% student-crafted and handmade. Here is a quick peek into our last session on Friday, October 21st. Enjoy!
